The High Point Cross Country Ski
Center is
CLOSED
for skiing and snowshoeing, but plan to reopen Friday 27 Jan. depending on
how the weather affects the snow condition through the week. We
received 6" of snow in the storm Saturday. Trails were groomed for
classic skiing ONLY (Scenic View and Cedar Swamp Trails). The forecast is
for temperatures
in the 40s with rain starting around 1200, noon.
All new intersection signs posts are
numbered and placed with trail names, distances, difficulty levels and trail
maps. Please check the "Weather page" for updates on snow conditions
and groomed trails and the "Event page" for details on programs and activities.

Rollerskiing is fun, and it helps you stay in great shape for snow
skiing. Learning to rollerski is easy for a person already cross country skiing.
