Why a Ski Swap?

It is a place to sell and purchase used cross country ski gear, which is in good shape, but outgrown or are little used. This swap supports the local High Point Nordic Ski Patrol, part of the National Ski Patrol.

What could be on sale?

Cross country skis equipment for children and adults, skis, boots, poles, bindings, snowshoes, ski bags, gaiters, roller skis and blades, car racks, ski waxes, and ski boxes. Some limited new gear is also available from High Point Cross Country Ski Center.

I have a pair of skis in the basement - what’s next?

Merchandise needs to be in good shape. Equipment drop-off on the day of the Ski Swap is 8:00-9:00 am. You need to set a reasonable price (in a whole dollar amount) and complete a Ski Swap Form.

A donation of $1.00 is requested for each tagged item up to a maximum of $10 per consignee.

If your item is sold, 20% of the proceeds is retained by High Point Nordic Ski Patrol, a non-profit organization.

Any unclaimed items at the end of the day will become the property of High Point Nordic Ski Patrol.

If your item sells, a cash payment, less 20% of the sale price, will be provided to you.

You will be asked to complete a Waiver releasing the seller and Sponsors from any liability.

I would just like to attend, and perhaps make a purchase?

Admission and Parking is free. ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE CASH ONLY. Displayed prices are non-negotiable and sales are final. Small denomination bills preferred for consignment items.
